Mike & Misty Burchette
Mike and Misty united their lives together in June of 1995.  The Lord has blessed them with two beautiful children, Ayla and Gage.  Mike grew up in Mooresville and attended Southside Baptist Church.  He was saved in 2002 here at Liberty and surrendered the call to preach in February of 2009.  He has had the opportunity to teach Sunday school for the past three years and is currently pursuing a degree in Bible theology at Liberty Baptist Bible College located in Statesville NC.  Misty also grew up in Mooresville and she too was saved here at Liberty in May of 2006.   She has had the honor of teaching the primary Sunday school class for the past three years.  Both have had the opportunity to work with the youth in VBS for several years.  They’re very excited about working and serving with the youth and spreading the gospel in and around our community.  They look forward to seeing how the Lord is going to move and bless in the lives of those whom glorify His name.

The McClain's were married on December 6th 2008.  They have recently just had their first born son Caleb on, November 4th 2009.  Abe met Katee while she was in school at Johnson and Wales university.  She graduated with her bachelor's degree in restaurant management.  She minored in culinary arts (cooking).  She has a real heart for people and loves to help any way that she can.  She is a great wife whom Abe loves dearly.  Abe McClain recently surrendered his call to preach in May of 2009.  He truly loves young people and God has put a special burden on his life for them.  He truly wants all the youth of America to know who Jesus Christ is and what he can do for them throughout their lives.   He was saved on May 13th, 2000 at a youth rally.  Since then Abe has tried his best to live for Jesus.  His life verse is Philippians 4:13, and truly believes if you put Jesus first in your life you will be able to accomplish great things.

Ricky and Cindy were united in marriage in September of 1992. They have been blessed with one beautiful little girl, Hannah who is 8 years old. Ricky grew up in Iaeger, WV and moved to Statesville in June of 1988. Ricky and Cindy met in 1990 and Ricky started attending Liberty Baptist Church. He was saved in August of 1992 at Preacher Ralph Robinette's home and has been serving the LORD ever since. He is currently the Sunday School Superintendant of Liberty Baptist Church. Cindy grew up in Mooresville and was saved at Liberty Baptist Church in 1994 during revival with Rev. Bruce Freeman. She is one of the original charter members of Liberty Baptist Church. She is currently serving in her third year as one of the Primary Sunday School teachers. Both she and Ricky have helped out several years with Vacation Bible School. They are both enjoying the time that has been spent with the youth and are striving to be an example for them. They look forward to what the LORD has in store for our youth and are praying for a wondrous outreach and for souls to be saved.
